Food To The Rescue!

6.23.11 - Part 1 <catching up>

i believe i am one week late with updating. SORRY ALL. 

i’m excited that finals will be over in 2 days. monday, 2 tests, one morning, and 11th grade will be officially over. 

first things first. all the way back from june 2nd, after SAT’s ( i blew them, scores came out the day before yesterday =/). wonderful meal at a place called shanghai brewery. Its too bad i only got to take pictures of 2 dishes before they were devoured by my very hungry friends. 

i think mini burgers are perfect size for me.

the chinese section decided to throw a hotpot farewell party for me. very sweet of them and i had a great time. we were afraid there wouldn’t be enough time to cook everything so results? we dumped all the different tofu’s, dumplings in one go. and ended up with 

man im going to miss them.

last time i tutored R and T. i’m so proud that they both passed math this time, maybe i’m not such a bad tutor/teacher. and as our tradition, we bought the taiwanese bento. gah i miss the food. 

this is as close as you get to taiwan. 

yum.

and last, as you might know, today is dragon boat festival. of course my traditional mom made zong zi. and this year i finally learned how to make them too. i think origami really helps with learning how to stuff these things. i made these all by myself!
